When Mold Remediation is underway it is extremely important to keep the mold and the mold spores limited as much as possible to the affected areas.  Mold spores can spread very easily if disturbed.  Different surfaces, fabrics and materials all have their own way of reacting once contaminated by mold.  

SERVPRO tries to educate the residents and people affected in a mold remediation situation how to prevent further exposure and any further contamination to both the structure and material items located in the home.  Unfortunately it is not uncommon to find it necessary to remove and throw away many items to ensure sanitation of the mold is complete.
